As we continue to strive for excellence and efficiency in our organization, it has come to our attention that there have been instances of misuse of the time and attendance registers. This memo serves as a reminder of the importance of accurate and honest recording of working hours.


Misuse of Time and Attendance Registers


The following actions are strictly prohibited and considered misuse:

● Falsifying or altering attendance records

● Clocking in or out for another employee

● Failing to clock in or out for work hours

● Taking extended breaks without approval

● Leaving work premises during work hours without permission


Consequences of Misuse

Any employee found to be engaging in any of the above behaviors will be subject to disciplinary action, in accordance with company policy.


Responsibilities

● Employees must accurately and honestly record their working hours.

● Supervisors and Managers are responsible for monitoring and verifying the accuracy of attendance records.

● The HR Department will perform regular audits to ensure compliance with attendance policies.


Action Required


To maintain integrity in our timekeeping system, all employees are expected to:

● Be punctual and regular in attendance

● Record working hours accurately

● Obtain prior approval for any variations to scheduled work hours

● Report discrepancies or concerns to their supervisor or the HR Department
